I have bags from Chanel, Dior, Balenciaga, LV etc etc but this is the FIRST TIME I have encountered something like this!! It started a couple days ago with the beyond gorgeous Valentino Crocodile Rockstud Envelope Clutch and I’ve also been having dreams of this YSL Mini Cabas Chyc in Skye Blue.

Yves Saint Laurent Cabas Chyc Medium lizard-effect Tote | ,595 via Net-A-Porter. This bag has everything a long lasting accessory needs: a wearable everyday design with the right amount of timeless appeal. The black lizard-effect leather gives added dimensionality while the optional shoulder strap provides ease of use.
I’m a bit shocked that it’s considered a “mini” because it’s quite a large handbag for me. FEATURES: – two way top zip closure with additional magnetic top tab closure with “Y” hardware. – sheepskin pebbled leather (super soft) – 5 metal feet. – tonal topstitching. I own two YSL bags - the Large Chyc and a New Rive Gauche tote, and the handles of the Rive Gauche have cracked like you've mentioned. I don't use the Chyc much, so I haven't seen any wear and tear on it. Not to put too fine a point on it, but I think the Chyc's quality doesn't justify the price.
