The Omega 1441 is known for being one of the rare TC movements used by Omega, the others being the 1445 and the 1680, but what makes it even rarer is that it was only used . Omega SMP 200M Pre Bond is listed by Omega as being either c.1441 or 1438. I know 1441 is the superior movement (dual oscillator, +/- 10 sec per annum etc) but is there any logic to which pre bonds got which movement?
If the watch received a full service then it should be reliable for years. If you can, in the future, find a watchmaker who you can deal directly with. Cutting out the middleman means that you are just paying for the watchmaker's time and you will both get a better deal.
